In the Amplify #CareerConnections mini series, young industry professionals take you behind the scenes of their jobs, show you the projects they are working on, and teach you about their roles in the Thoroughbred industry. There are more unique jobs in the Thoroughbred industry than you could ever imagine, so prepare to be inspired and maybe even discover your dream job!
AMPLIFY HORSE RACING HANGOUTS
Amplify Horse Racing Hangouts are a unique virtual education opportunity for youth, young adults, and Thoroughbred industry newcomers to engage with professionals about education and careers. Each Hangout features Thoroughbred industry professionals, their careers, and fundamentals required to understand the horse racing industry. Participants learn directly from experts, can ask questions, and gain valuable information from others years of experience in the field.
Hangouts are streamed live to Amplify Horse Racing Twitter, YouTube and Facebook on the third Tuesday of each month at 7p.m. ET.
THE NEXT GENERATION – THOROUGHBRED DAILY NEWS
The Thoroughbred Daily News (TDN) partnered with Amplify Horse Racing to present “The Next Generation,” an ongoing video series featuring young people who were not born into the Thoroughbred business, but are now excelling within the industry. BUS TO BUSINESS®
Bus to Business® is an initiative with the Kentucky Chamber, focused on connecting students with employers. The goal of the program is to show students what career pathways are in their own communities. These students will be given the opportunity to tour businesses, complete hands-on work-based learning activities, and speak directly with employers about career pathways available in their organizations.
