The Wood Memorial Stakes (G2) is a Kentucky Derby (G1) prep race held at Aqueduct Racetrack. First run in 1925, it has produced 11 Kentucky Derby winners, including Triple Crown winners Gallant Fox, Omaha, Count Fleet, Assault, and Seattle Slew.
